No…no, it can’t be, she thought, wincing as the last signs of her half-brother’s life slowly drifted away. Tears slowly ran down her cheeks. But defiantly, she wiped them away. She pushed away the heaviness of sorrow in her heart. I can’t let myself get weak. I will grieve for him later. Right now, I’ve got more important things to take care of… Rei heard quiet sobbing next to her. She turned, and studied the white-cloaked figure crying over Seiji’s corpse.

He was back on that day again. He could hear his little sister’s screams echoing through the hall as Gnilix impaled his sabreun into her stomach. Seiji wanted to run away, but icy fear paralyzed his body and froze him in place.
“You can never escape your past,” the reptilian general hissed, raising his bloody blade in the air. “This is your destiny!”
